Valuable Insights and Advice at Supply Chain Event

Silverstone Technology Cluster

The Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC), held Overcoming Supply Chain Challenges, their first Future Mobility Special Interest Group (SIG) event in 2022 at Silverstone Park on February 10th. The event was supported by MPA.  

After an opening presentation by Bhavina Bharkhada, Head of Policy and Campaigns at MAKE UK, an in-depth panel discussion was held with the following expert speakers:

• Garry Myatt, Director at PPC&A
• Mike Hayward of Woodfines
• Rob Parr, Engineering Manager at Partner Electronics 
• Wayne Clark, Head of Purchasing at RML Group
• Nigel Seamarks, from Cosworth

The discussion, guided by Future Mobility SIG Champion Simon Holloway from RML Group highlighted the importance of communication and the need to be open and transparent with suppliers and customers.

“This was a great discussion, and it think that companies in the cluster will appreciate the insights from the panellists” commented Simon. “Naturally, this is an issue that is not just limited to those working in future mobility, but most, if not all businesses are affected, so it was great to see the debate at the end of the panel discussion with the attendees.”
