Steve recently celebrated his 35th anniversary working for Barclays during which he has undertaken a variety of Relationship Management roles aligned to supporting Small & Medium size businesses. Steve has been a key advocate in developing an ecosystem to support growth, innovation and collaboration in the area. He has also been involved with the Silverstone Technology Cluster both prior to, and after, its creation.

Steve’s current role is as a Business Development Director for Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire with a strong focus on advanced manufacturing, engineering and high performance technology that support sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medical and motorsport. That said he has a vast array of contacts within Barclays that he can call upon as required to support many more sectors.

In addition to his role, Steve is a board member of the Cranfield Automotive Industry Advisory Board and has also supported the MSc Advanced Motorsport Engineering programme for many years.

A keen cyclist and motorsport fan, Steve has lived in the Milton Keynes area all his life and has a teenage daughter.
