Richard is a co-founding director with 30 years’ experience in the electronics and opto-electronics industry. He has led engineering teams for 10 years with companies such as HP/Agilent and Bookham Technology, prior to being part of the leadership of Partner Electronics from start-up to a mature design services business.

His product development experience includes telecommunications fibre optic receivers, photomultiplier photon counting subsystems and electrical power analysis instrumentation. He has significant experience of developing production test solutions for high speed and high-power optoelectronic devices, including tuneable lasers.

Richard has a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Physics of Laser Communications.
