Nick Fox-Male has retired as a UK & European Patent Attorney after 40 years, including 20 years as UK/European Patent Counsel for Honeywell, specialising in electronics and software, including instrumentation and controls. He worked with engineers on developing and commercialising new products and services, and so has a very practical and pragmatic attitude to technical development projects.

Now he is a consultant advising universities, growth companies and start-ups on maximising benefit from technology development, IntelIectual Property, grants and investments, and he is also a member of and actively involved in Angel networks.

He has been a member of the STC Wearable Tech SIG for some years, introducing and actively supporting many start-ups involved in a wide variety of wearables applications.
