Debbie started her career in the Sales & Marketing department of an engineering firm over 30 years ago, and has since been involved in a diverse array of sectors, including motorsport, education and IT.
Whether it’s in event management, brand development or digital comms, she thrives on understanding what makes people tick, and what compels audience engagement.
“Pim and I worked together at the Motorsport Industry Association back in 2004, and continued to stay in touch after we moved on from there. Fast track 13 years and we were back working together again.
“The STC was still relatively new when I took over the management of their social media channels in 2017. It’s been a fascinating journey watching the cluster grow over the years and I love being part of our small but dynamic team. There’s never a dull moment and we’re never short of content for social media, as there is always an event or webinar to promote, or a story to share about our members. It certainly keeps me on my toes!”
Outside of work, Debbie’s main passion is squash, playing for the local ladies’ team and for Warwickshire.
