We are very pleased this month to announce that our second STC Industry Advisory Group (IAG) cohort has now officially been brought into the fold. Our first meeting served to introduce the new members to the group and kick off discussions on the agenda for this next two year term.

Continuity is maintained as Kieron Salter (of KWSP) remains the group’s chair, whilst a warm welcome goes to our four new members:

·       Chris Horton (Performance Projects)

·       Garry Myatt (PP Control & Automation)

·       Neil Morgan (GoodFabs)

·       Richard Rydon (Partner Electronics)

Pim van Baarsen commented shortly after the meeting: “The purpose of the IAG is to give a voice to our members and the wider cluster. The group advises the STC board and helps to ensure that whatever the STC does is always in the service of the membership and the companies in the cluster.

“We’re really looking forward to ever more engagement with the IAG by all our members during this new term.”

The meetings are run bi-monthly and include the IAG cohort, several Board Members, two STC members plus one seat every meeting for a different STC member.

So, if you would like to attend the next scheduled IAG meeting in April and have your voice heard – or if you have any ideas for events or potential discussion topics in the meantime – do please get in touch with the IAG via their newly established email address, which forwards your message to all the IAG members.

Each of the new cohort will serve for a 2-year term (12 meetings) and the group will meet on the second Friday of every other month, making the next meeting 14th April 2023.
