SMEs on behalf of 17 funds, based out of offices in London,
Manchester, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Dublin, Leeds and
Newcastle with smaller satellite offices in Leicester and Milton Keynes.
The Private Equity Team is one of a small number of professional
private equity managers focused on initial equity investments of up to
£5m, across a range of sectors and throughout the UK.
The team manages a portfolio of more than 270 SME investments
across a broad range of sectors including business services, consumer
and leisure, healthcare, industrials and manufacturing and technology,
media and telecommunications (“TMT”). These investments also cover a
range of maturity profiles from early stage to more mature small
companies, where the risk/return profile is most attractive. Annual
revenues at portfolio companies are generally less than £25m.
