The Silverstone Technology Cluster’s new website has received positive reviews from the organisation’s business membership in the two months since its launch.
One new stand-out feature is its forum which has enabled greater online ‘chat’ between the STC’s business members operating in technology and also those providing support services to the industry.
Chris Burke, Head of Market Expansion at the Aircraft Research Association, enthused: “I have found the website easy to use from setting up our company profile to posting a news article and contributing to the forum.
“The STC team is friendly and happy to help with any questions so it’s a well looked after resource which can help bring members together and create valuable connections.”
Garry Myatt, Sales & Collaboration Director for PP Control & Automation, added: “The new STC website is a lot more informative. I’ve also had a fellow member comment to me that it contains lots of information that is needed and is easy to navigate – they particularly like the Directory section where it’s easy to locate SMEs and the services they offer.”
Arminder Singh, a Senior Logistics Engineer at BAE Systems, said: “I find the STC website’s new Members’ area quite intuitive to use.”
Simon Arkell, Principal at EMW Law and STC Board Member, continued: “I think that the new website has a nice modern feel to it and added functionality for our members and is a great reflection of the STC and the value we are adding.
STC CEO Pim van Baarsen was delighted with the response. “We are always looking to evolve and move with the times and our new website is a reflection of this.
“It’s more streamlined, has a great look and feel and is easier to navigate. It’s also clear that the forum is a valuable addition – not just as a way for us to share information and opportunities with our members, but also for them to chat and collaborate.”
