Visitors to this year’s Advanced Engineering Show can pre-arrange meetings with Silverstone Technology Cluster CEO Pim van Baarsen and STC members Silverstone Park and Jaltek in the event’s VIP Lounge.
As in previous years, the Lounge – a hot spot for business networking – is being hosted by the STC in partnership with technology business estate Silverstone Park (a founding STC member) and, for the first time, Jaltek, a leading AS9100 and ISO 13485-accredited UK contract electronics manufacturer.
The show will run from 1-2 November at NEC Birmingham. It annually attracts the ‘great and good’ from UK and overseas engineering and enables individuals from ambitious start-ups and SMEs to mingle with representatives of larger organisations.
Pim commented: “We very much look forward to seeing visitors to the VIP Lounge and we will be setting time aside for 1-1 meetings with businesses and organisations looking to collaborate with the STC and its membership.
“These slots will be an ideal opportunity to meet other members of the STC team but we anticipate they will go quickly so please do get in touch.”
Silverstone Park developer MEPC’s Chris Kimber-Nickelson (Commercial Director), Ruth Williams (Asset Manager) and Rebecca Harrhy (Marketing & Executive Assistant) will each be present at AES.
Chris said: “A number of the STC’s most innovative business members are located at Silverstone Park thanks to the skills pool in the area, the opportunities to network and collaborate and the on-going industrial development which are all factors in helping them to grow.
“We would very much welcome dialogue with parties interested in finding out more about our next planned phases of development.”
Those wishing to potentially arrange 1-1 meetings with Pim or Jaltek please email joanne@silverstonetechnologycluster.com and with Chris rebecca.harrhy@federatedhermes.com
Notably at Advanced Engineering Show, 18 STC business members will form an impressive Innovation Zone adjacent to the Lounge. The Zone has been arranged by the STC for them to exhibit their respective specialisms in front of an anticipated 15,000 visitors.
