US Army tech scout among Silverstone Technology Cluster Conference speakers

A ‘tech scout’ for the US Army is among the first guest speakers and panellists named for the Silverstone Technology Cluster’s Annual Conference in November.

The Conference, on 22 November at The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes will be held in association with STC founding member Silverstone Park.

STC members Hexagon, Silverstone Composites and Partner Electronics will add further support.

The event has become an important fixture on the calendars of those working in the advanced engineering and manufacturing, digital, electronic and software development industries.

These include larger organisations looking to tap into the knowledge and capabilities of smaller businesses within the Cluster.

Last year, both Amazon and BAE Systems were among those to present to the audience.

For 2022’s event, the STC has provisionally confirmed that speakers will include Patrick Fowler PhD, a US Army Civilian who is motivated by working closely with end users to find the most relevant technical solutions to daily problems.

Also confirmed are:

·       Dr Cristiana Pace, Enovation Consulting Limited (STC member): Founded in 2018, a strategy and sustainability consulting focusing on the sport and motorsport sector which also delivers STEM and legacy projects nationally and internationally.

·       Richard Collins, CEO, CSR Accreditation (STC member): A keynote speaker and presenter who inspires, motivates, and educates his audiences through his energy, positivity, and most of all – his determination that we can build a better world for future generations.

·       Greg Smith, MP: Previously deputy leader of Hammersmith and Fulham Council, he has been the Member of Parliament for the Buckingham constituency since the 2019 general election

Furthermore, Silverstone Park, along with other Conference partners, will soon provide a ‘virtual booth’ for guests to visit pre-event.

This will provide visitors with a latest update on developments at the Park and will add to the estate’s own ‘in person’ booth at the event.
