The webinars, on online discussion forum Zoom, take place at 11:00 each Thursday.

In each one, an STC member takes on the role of host as they apply their area of expertise to bring the audience up to speed on best practices in the workplace.

CYSIAM’s James Kench commented: “The STC webinars are a valuable platform for organisations to share aspects of their expertise for the benefit of other members.

“The exercise of preparing a short, punchy 40-minute presentation prompted a useful distillation of the subject matter and it was a pleasure to present to a relevant audience from the high-tech business community who were keen to engage with the topic.”

And said STC CEO Pim van Baarsen: “The webinars are, as ever, in response to our members’ suggestions; the feedback shows they are not just popular but also really informative in keeping colleagues up to speed with latest trends and policy that have a real effect on the lives of staff.

“They are such handy tools to have that, ideally, we would like to keep them running beyond the COVID-19 situation.”
