Setting the standard for eco-friendly websites

CSR Accreditation

23rd August 2022

I am delighted to share our latest podcast with Eco-Friendly Web Alliance (EFWA) Who are setting the standard for eco-friendly and climate positive websites.

EFWA aim to prevent 500,000 tonnes of CO2e from entering the atmosphere within the decade, by reducing the carbon emissions of websites. Addressing the climate crisis involves improving how we do what we do by holding in mind global warming, the exhaustion of natural resources and multiple species extinction – and EFWA is leading the way.

The podcast addresses:
   •   A holistic approach to social responsibility
   •  The digital landscape
   •  That 3.7% of global carbon emissions are due to the Internet
   •   What is the role of EFWA
   •   How do you reduce the carbon footprint of a website
   •   How do we keep our website carbon healthy
   •   Get your free audits.

Thanks to Shane Herath for such an enlightening conversation.
