Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC), is a not-for-profit support organisation for advanced engineering, electronics and software businesses around Silverstone. The organisation aids its members with promotion, business growth and thought leadership.

The events assistant should assist with organising events, webinars and meetings and associated work. This will involve responsibilities supporting the directors, internal organisation and learning on the job.

Primary Job functions:

Event organisation, including:

• Running on-line and physical events
• Booking and managing venues
• Creating and maintaining event calendars
• Creation / upkeep of schedules and timetables
• Liaising with speakers, sponsors, attendees and suppliers
• Producing event and marketing materials
• Producing draft reports / follow up materials
• Setting up and maintaining event web pages
• Organising meetings
• Producing meeting notes
• Answering phone calls

As this is a small organisation, the successful applicant will be required to cover a variety of duties as they arise, taking ownership of these as directed by the CEO.

This is a great role for a self-motivated and well organised individual who has a can-do attitude and is able to work independently. This role is offered on a self-employment contract basis only.
