Incentivesmart are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper candidate to join our growing team. The role is maternity cover for a 12-14 month period, but given the continued growth of the business, has the potential to lead to a permanent position.  The role offers flexible working hours ideal for someone looking to balance family commitments and work.

At Incentivesmart you will be an important member of our highly motivated team who help ambitious businesses that care about their culture, to grow by building more rewarding relationships and trust between their leaders, employees and customers.  Our Multi-tenant SaaS system hosts B2B loyalty programmes for a diverse client base, from small local businesses to international brands such as Michelin, Kärcher, Kimberly Clark, Miele and Vodafone. We have experienced exceptional year-on-year growth over the last couple of years and we are now looking to strengthen our team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating weekly and monthly invoices
  • Perform credit control duties by email and telephone to ensure timely customer payments
  • Inputting invoices/credits on Xero and maintaining purchase ledger
  • Bank reconciliation on all bank accounts and company credit cards
  • Filing paperwork
  • Creating weekly spreadsheets for payments
  • Completing month end Management Reports
  • Assisting Management Accountant with for quarterly reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Continuous review of working practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
  • Working with internal departments and external clients to resolve account queries
  • Providing cover where required for the other members of the Finance and Ops team 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent organisational, numerical and analytical skills
  • Minimum 2 years finance/bookkeeping experience
  • Passionate about developing a career in an exciting growth business
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Be a team player, understanding priorities and workload of other departments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • PC/Mac literate with good knowledge of Excel and Xero
  • Understanding and appreciation of new technology
