Having invented the world’s first fully electronic automatic traffic counter in the 1970’s which enabled direct data transfer to a computer Clearview Intelligence was born out of a desire to make roads safer and more intelligent. Over the past 50 years our technology has revolutionised the industry and today we work to the broader purpose of ‘making places, safer, greener and more intelligent.’

This is ultimately the reason for our existence, we do this by providing a range of data and technology solutions to local authorities, transport authorities and transport operators among others.

Our products include in-road vehicle detection; count and classification of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians (with other forms of mobility under test); active road studs – solar and hard-wired; Journey Time Monitoring; and parking management.

We also pride ourselves on our approach to working with third party products to enable us to deliver complete schemes that improve road safety and traffic flow and enable highway teams and transport planners to better understand, manage, and improve their networks.
