The Open University
12th November 2020The Open University is offering SME companies the chance to access its wealth of knowledge and expertise.
KTVs provide funding for projects to enable organisations which have not engaged with the University before to partner with us to solve challenges they are facing, identify opportunities for further collaboration and develop lasting partnerships. For instance, you could use this Voucher to access our academics’ materials science expertise, our labs or facilities such as stressmap or to undertake a short feasibility study.
The Knowledge Transfer Voucher (KTV) scheme aims to kick-start collaborative projects between The Open University and SMEs, charities and third sector organisations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Projects should tackle a challenge the organisation is facing that can only be solved using the University’s specialist knowledge, expertise or facilities. Projects may provide expert insight, develop new processes or provide proof-of-concept to help the organisation solve a pressing problem, innovate and grow.
