Silverstone Technology Cluster
15th November 2022The Silverstone Technology Cluster has won the Advanced Engineering Show’s (AES) award for best pre-marketing campaign.
The award was handed to STC CEO Pim van Baarsen by AES Divisional Director Alison Willis on the show’s VIP Lounge which the Cluster had hosted for the fifth successive event.
Allison commented: “We’re presenting this award to the STC for their marketing efforts in the pre-show campaign, bringing the most visitors out of all the exhibitors and participators to the show.
Pim said: “It’s a real honour to receive this award and we really appreciate it.
“Advanced Engineering is a fantastic show which complements our membership and this award also highlights how effective our reach across industry is becoming.”
During this year’s show (2-3 November) at NEC Birmingham, 13 STC business members were able to exhibit around the VIP Lounge’s perimeter as part of an expanded Innovation Zone – organised for them by the Cluster.
Many have reported the zone proved valuable in helping them to showcase their products and capabilities, raise awareness of their specialisms and also establish potential new leads (see separate article).
Pim added: “This show has a lovely environment and crosses all the sectors we and our membership are involved with. We are keen to continue supporting the show looking ahead.”
