Anicca Digital puts Google Premier Partners on the map

Interactive map of UK Google Ads Premier Partner Agencies helps firms with marketing search

Anicca Digital has developed an interactive map to help businesses identify the most reputable digital advertising agencies in the UK, after becoming the only Leicestershire agency to retain its Google Premier Partner accreditation.

The digital marketing agency has developed the tool following the recent rollout of Google’s new Premier Partner Certification.

Search advertising continues to grow in the UK, generating £8.4 billion in spending in 2020, up from £7.82 billion, and accounting for 51% of digital ad spend. 

Google has updated its Premier Partners criteria, which was launched in 2010, and reissued badges to the top 3% of Google Ads practitioners in each country.

Previously, around 400 companies in the UK were eligible for the accreditation, with agencies required to have a certain number of qualified staff, an ad spend of more than $10k per quarter and a well-run account, as determined by an account optimisation score.

Now, just 140 marketing agencies have been awarded the new, coveted Premier Partner badge. 

It has utilised the Google Ads Partners directory to create the interactive map, which enables businesses to find the best marketing agency in their local area.

“Anicca Digital was amongst the first agencies to hold this accreditation back in 2010 however, it needed a revamp as it no longer served its original purpose of being able to distinguish agencies by the quality of their work.

“The Anicca team are very proud to be in the top 140 Google Ads agencies in the UK and were curious to see which other agencies had retained their Premier Partnership accreditation, and where they were located.

“After analysing the data in the directory, we have produced a map that makes it easier to find the right marketing expertise and we hope it will be a valuable resource for businesses.”
